particular order, the top 7 myths about mythology :)
Orions belts is the three wise men
>Most have seen this image I suspect in regards to mythology but
this is completely wrong....
because its isnt the three wise men, it is the three marys from the
bible who are symbolically Orion's belt.
>Mary Magdalene, Virgin mary, and Mary of Clopas.
>2.Gods stay the same gender throughout
>This is not the case at all as I will
prove. Gods with one eye for example:
>The ancient Greek goddess Hera:
>The Norse god Odin with one eye:
>3.Isis is the virgin mary
>Isis is not the virgin mary at all as ill prove yet again:
>4. Theres only one true god, and all the
other religions and mythologies are the product of demons.
>Dumb questions only merit dumb answers
however gods throughout mythology actually match up with the apostles
in the Bible for example:
"Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was
the chief speaker."
>5. Gods only appear once in each mythology.
>This is wrong for example ancient egytpian
mythology has lots of mythology and many gods because of the different
time periods but by looking at similar charcteristics you can match
them up to see which god came from which.
>6.You can use gods bloodlines to work out
which god is which for example to find out the orgins of the trinity,
father, son, mother
>This is wrong aswell because about 90% of
gods are married in mythology so you can find a trinity here there and
everywhere. Not to mention that if you do correlate gods between
mythologoies you find that the trinity is not the same in all the
>7.Hermes is thoth.
>This is not the case at all, Even though
to the ancient greeks they saw the god Thoth as the equivalent of
Hermes and saw them as one and the same thing but Thoth is adctually a
moon god while Hermes isnt.
