Origins of the Pentacle, Heptagram and Ishtar star.
The Pentacle has to do with five gods which are associated with the
five brightest stars which can be seen in the night sky in the Hyades
cluster in the constellation of Taurus. In biblical terms these gods
would be Barnabas, Lucas, Demas, Marcus and Aristarchus.
The Heptagram has to do with 7 gods which are associated with the 7
brightest stars which can be seen in the night sky in the Pleiades
cluster in the constellation of Taurus. In ancient Egyptian terms these
gods would be Petet, Tjetet, Matet, Mesetet, Mesetetef, Tefen and
Befen. Peter is where we get the biblical Peter from.
The Ishtar star is the eight pointed star of the sumerian goddess
and its 8 pointed because there are 8 primary stars of the
constellation of Orion. It represents Bellatrix, Rigel, Saiph,
Betelgeuse, Alnilam, Alnitak, Mintaka and Iota Orionis which in total
makes 8 stars. It does not represent Venus as many people claim. The
Sumerians had a similar seven pointed star which represnted the
Pleiades cluster in the night sky and the underworld.
